Tinytec Pinpointers - Factory Direct Sales and/or Contact the Mfg.

"E. A." sent this e-mail to us at Hunter's Haven Enterprises: "Ive used one of your probes for years. My Tinytech Ultra delux served me well until a freind of mine snapped it in half.To tell you that i was in total shock and dissbeleaf when that happened would be an monumental understatement.Luckily i had one of your Tinytech ultras as well at the time wich i had to have modified with a brighter bulb for night hunting.I dont go metal detecting without my Tinytech (PERIOD).To leave the house without my Tinytech would be a complete waste of time.Thank you for making such an excellent probe."

C.S of Augustine, FL, says ..."Just a note to say the Tinytec Probe I just purchased works wonders for me. I hunt coins that are in grass, lawns parks etc. Many are in the grass and the Tinytec finds them fast in places where you wouldn't want to dig and disturb the lawns."

K.A. from SLC, UT, completed and published a Tinytec product test report in his detecting club letter. He sent us a copy of the report, saying "I feel you have manufactured a fine product that is certainly the best of its type.. . . The Tinytec has really made target recovery quick, simple and fun while minimizing damage to grass. Next to my detector, it is my favorite detecting tool."

Bob posted on a web forum " After using Tinytec and the (brand X) and both the "homebrews", here is my opinion. "Brand X" is compact and requires no adjustment. It is a turn on and go unit. However, the probe length is so short that if you are probing any deeper than about 5", you are putting the whole unit into the hole and using the case as a handle to push the tip around with. I prefer the Tinytec mostly because of the longer probe with which I can grasp the unit and really dig around and not worry about stressing the probe to case structure. . .. It is a very durable and reliable unit that performs as advertised. That's just my opinion based on my personal experience."

Dr. Alfred E. Friedl, Rootstone, OH, writes "I like the Tinytec very much and use it all the time. In fact, I hesitate to go to a private place to ask permission to hunt without the unit. It allows me to take a smaller plug and allows me to locate a coin in loose dirt in the hole without having to do much excavation. It helps me to restore the turf so that there is absolutely no evidence that there had been a hole."

E.B., Matthews, NC: " ..I gave my partner your (Hunter's Haven Enterprises) address. I got tired of going over and finding his targets with TINY. The little guy is doing great and has impressed everyone."

W.F.B., Saskatoon, Sask., Canada, writes " I have had the Tinytec for six weeks, during which I spent 81 hours detecting, finding 1157 coins. The original battery seems to have considerable life left in it.. .. Using the Tinytec for pinpointing targets has greatly cut down on the number of times I have had to stand up to re-locate elusive targets with my Eagle Spectrum. I have had to do less digging. Again, thank you for a most useful accessory. I would recommend it to anyone, particularly those starting out as new detector users.. ."

G. H., Warren, OH, writes " I have only one phrase to describe your new product - absolutely phenomenal! Before ordering your probe, I spent upwards of 25 minutes working through the loose dirt from one hole. While doing that I would often think of all the targets I could be pulling out if I didn't have to spend all that time on one hole, and to add insult to injury, it often turned out to be a small fleck of foil or a tail from a pull tab! . . Now, I have said goodbye to frustrations mentioned earlier. I rarely spend more than 1 or 2 minutes, and more commonly 10 to 30 seconds after opening a hole. I went back to a site where, due to a lot of roots, I had to give up on one good signal next to a tree. After receiving the Tinytec I returned to the site, re-opened the hole and lo and behold a mercury dime! . . Thanks, Gary."

Lucile Bowen, renowned author of "Travels of the Gals" for Western & Eastern Treasures refers to a target in a magazine article " I can read it with my Tinytec probe, a small hand-held detector that has no discrimination. To me, it's invaluable, and I carry it whenever I'm detecting." In another article Lucile mentions" The Tinytec helps immensely with the finding of both close and deep targets". In still another article she writes " Roots were interlaced one over the other, but the reading became more definitive as I probed deeper. Finally, I pried the roots far enough apart to insert the Tinytec. When it sounded out that I had found my target, I had to go for it! About 8" down, on edge, was a 1909 Barber half dollar.."

Western & Eastern Treasures magazine, July 1999 issue, Jim Hoelscher appears in a photo with his detecting equipment, including his Tinytec probe.

G.H. Spokane, WA writes, in part, "You can be sure I will tell everyone in our treasure hunter's club . .Since I began using the Tinytec this year I have found that I really rely on it and always take it with me when I'm out detecting.. "

Tinytec's photo made the front cover of Western & Eastern Treasures magazine where Donna Trefry wrote a treasure article in the May 1997 issue where she mentioned the Tinytec probe.

Dan Hughes, Champaign, IL, states "By my estimation, the Tinytec cuts in half the time required to dig a coin. Which means my actual hunting time is doubled. This tool is like a TV remote control or a cordless phone: You don't realize how much you need it until you actually use it. There are imitations, but the genuine Tinytec is the best miniprobe on the market."
